Louvre Abu Dhabi announces opening date

The wait is finally over. The Louvre Abu Dhabi will open on November 11, 2017. More than four years after the initial predicted date and after more than 12 months of speculation, we need wonder no more.

The new institution announced its date on social media feeds and the country's leaders responded accordingly. 

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, tweeted the museum will enhance country's image.
