Sketch-off competition to design next-gen car

Have you ever considered sketching the future of transport? Think sci-fi, think autonomous driving, think next generation. The Dubai World Congress for Safe Driving Transport is launching a competition for the most creative self-driving vehicle in sketch form. For this event, 15 artists will be selected to do a sketch-off to draw the most creative next generation autonomous mode of transport and the winner will receive a 7,000AED cash prize (second place 3,000AED). 

This is a global two-day conference that will raise public awareness of modern and future transport by identifying the impact of technology on investments and transport strategies. It also encompasses a cutting-edge exhibition showcasing the future of self-driving vehicles. The event will host over 60 exhibitors, feature over 40 seminars and product demonstrations and a challenge showcase.

The Dubai Self-Driving Congress Sketch Battle is a one day competition that will be held on 16 October at Za’abeel Hall 5, Dubai World Trade Centre.

The battle will be a design sketching competition to find the most creative next generation autonomous mode of transport.

The judges will be from within the local and international community relating to art and the autonomous driving space and the top two winners will take away cash prizes and trophies. Sketches can be conceptualized beforehand however, they must be drawn from scratch on-site during the competition. There will be no tracing or copying allowed. All sketching materials, to be used must be brought by the participant but A3 paper will be supplied.

All participants must register online by September 25, 2019. There will be a shortlist process once you have registered and submitted three choice designs from your portfolio.
