For their summer 2017 show, The Third Line invited Dexter Wimberly to curate a group exhibition of four artists linked by their African heritage. A Fast Moving Sky featured the work of Rushern Baker, Leonardo Benzant, Andrew Lyght and Valerie Piraino. Among many of the issues raised with the exhibition was that of cultural hybridity. What does it mean for our identity to live in a constantly dynamic multicultural world?

I discussed this issue with Dexter in this podcast that was commissioned by Alserkal Avenue's Folio platform.

  • A Fast Moving Sky ran from May 24 - July 25, 2017 at The Third Line, Dubai.
